Is there medication to stop menstruation for at least a week?

I'm going tramping with my daughter andn her friends. It would be a disaster if I got my period in the middle of the trip...

If you are on the birth control pill, you may be able to skip the placebo pills and start the next pack. Ask you doctor first.

I don't think there is such a thing. You just have to know your cycle so you can predict when you are going to start.

Of course Hon---birth-control pills will keep you from having your period.
If you already take them and will be on your "off" week when you go camping, just have your doctor give you an extra prescription to continue taking until you arrive safely and period-free back home :)
