Is their any birth control that doesn't have the risk of heart attack and stroke?

i have VERY high risk of having a heart attack and stroke already, and i want to go on birth control so if you know it would be greatly apprecaited
Answer:
IUDs such as Mirena or Paraguard. Mirena is very effective (99.9%) because it contains a small amount of progesterone, but that doesn't increase the heart attack/stroke risk. You should have at least one child for this, though.
Barrier methods such as diaphrams, cervical caps, condoms work too.
an iud will not up your risks.

check out the mirena or the copper iud. i have the mirena and love it.
