Is there any kind of birth control that will not make you gain weight?

i tried to ask this q a few weeks ago, not much luck. i see it like this, if you gained weight on any hormonal birth control, there is always going to be the chance you will gain weight if you choose another form of hormonal BC. you may want to try one of the lower dose BC pills.

the only thing i got from people was condoms, lea's shield or diaphgram (omg i cannot spell!) with spermicide.

I think its on every kind of birth control that there is the potential for weigh gain. I have been on the depo-provera i.e. The Needle, for three years and haven't gained a pound.

Depo shot WIL:L make you gain weight the pill does NOT work that great TRY the Nuva ring it WILL NOT make you gain weight and is an awesome birth control been on it for 2 years now and still no babies :D

well mabey i'm weird but the seasonalle pill the one you take 12 weeks straight of active pills seems to keep me thinner .
also with less hormone fluctation its great !!..and only 4 periods a year only thing that could be better is no periods at alll !!!

Ask your doctor to proscribe a lower estrogen level birth control pill that usually helps.

The only thing that I have found that doesn't have any side effects is on my husbands part. I was having a hard time with BC and he finally decided that he was going in to get "fixed" so that there were no more problems. If you are still wanting to have kids then I can't help you out sorry.
