Is their any way to boost ur period?

k i have never had my period and i just want it so is their a way to make it come any faster..... ??
Answer:
No.
You'll get it plenty soon.
Be happy that you haven't had it yet--I know, I was impatient before I got mine,too--but after the first time, the new wears off and you keep getting your period every month for 35-40 years.
Good luck
no, why would you want it? it hurts, and its gross...
Nope, your body will start when its ready! no way to force it to happen...be blessed you haven't yet, its a pain :)
no DUHHHH !
y r u so worried when u have it your going to wish you didnt so just wait it'll come in time
no, just be patient, it will happen when it's time. then you will wish it never happened!! lol
Not that I know of, and be glad. Once you get your period, you'll wish you'd never had it.
Oh I remember how that was. You want to get it so bad dont ya? trust me, once you do, you will wish you hadn't..lol. I have no idea how old you are but my mom had this theroy a few years back. It seems that more and more girls are getting their periods earlier all the time these days. My neice got hers at 8. 8! Anyhow, my moms theroy was that kids are going through puberty earlier because of the horomones in the meat we eat. Especially chicken. They cant produce enough to meet the needs, so they pump them up with hormones so they grow faster and we get more chicken. So eat chicken. It cant hurt, and it might work.lol. Good luck to you!
no and besides you'll only grow about one more year after you have your period so if you want to be taller then you dont want your period.
Nope, only puberty and good old mothernature takes care of that. Don't be in such a rush to get it because when you do, you will be wishing you never had it. The cramps, the water weight gain and bloating. Who looks forward to that. I think most women can agree.
If you are under 16, don't worry about it. You've got plenty of time (periods are NOT fun!).

If you are over 16 and you have had your first period, but your period is late (and you aren't pregnant), eat a wad (size of a quarter) of fresh parsley (they sell it at the grocery cheap). You should get your period in a day or two after that.

Good luck! :)
I don't know how old you are, but don't rush it. Let nature take it's course. It's a pain, so enjoy your time without it. Everything's gonna be okay. I promise.
I was jst like u, i as waiting for it to come so much, then i got it and for the first two days it was kind of cool, then IT GOT SOO HEAVY, ANNOYING AND I GOT THE WORST CRAMPS! not to mention PMS!
just stop wishing for it, and enjoy what days/months/years u haveleft of not having it!
NO! your period will arrive when your body is ready.

But why in the world would you want your period to come so soon, take your time because when it gets here and you will have it for many many years, you are going to wish it took its time. It is painful at time with cramps, and gross, and just not a pleasant thing.

But you didn't mention your age, are you really young or are you a teen and you have not had your period yet?

Is their any birth control that doesn't have the risk of heart attack and stroke?

i have VERY high risk of having a heart attack and stroke already, and i want to go on birth control so if you know it would be greatly apprecaited
Answer:
IUDs such as Mirena or Paraguard. Mirena is very effective (99.9%) because it contains a small amount of progesterone, but that doesn't increase the heart attack/stroke risk. You should have at least one child for this, though.
Barrier methods such as diaphrams, cervical caps, condoms work too.
an iud will not up your risks.

check out the mirena or the copper iud. i have the mirena and love it.

Is the pill not working for me?

okay this is my second month on the pill. Lorestrin or something like that is the pill my doctor gave me. Ever since my first pack on the 12 pill I been having spotting( break thru bleeding). I did get my period on the same day which was on the 26 and finished today the 1st. Now I always have a 7 day period and when my doctor gave me the pill he said I would have a shorter and light period. Now I still lasted the 7 days and the bleeding was a little lighter but was still a bit heavy. How do you know if the pill is working?
Answer:
Your body needs to adjust to a pill. That's why many women have spotting when they start the pill Since your period was lighter, that means the pill is working against heavy periods. 7 days is not that bad, but hopefully you will go down to 5 gradually if you keep taking the pill.
Sometimes when you start a new pill, your hormones and therefore periods, can be all haywire. Call and talk to the nurse or PA at your dr's office and see if you should change pills or dosage. (then it won't cost you an office visit)
Since you are having spotting then you need to call and report all of the info you posted here to your doc. He has not clue what is happening if you don't call and talk to him or his nurse. The doc will let you know if he wants you to stay on this pill or if he wants to change it. Also look at the name on your pill case so you know what drug it is that you are taking. If you every need to go to ER or urgent care they will want to know all the meds you take so learn what the name of the pill is that the doc has you on. Call your doc tomorrow and talk to him though.
I've had the same thing happen to me when the hormones are too low in the pill. A pill that is a little higher in estrogen than lo-estrin may help you. Talk to your doctor about it though. He or she will be able to correct the problem.
It can take about 3 months for your body to adjust to 'the pill'. During this time side effects like break through bleeding (spotting) are common. It's nothing to worry about, but you can call your doctor to confirm or just refer to your pill pamphlet. If this side effect keeps up after 3 months, you might need to switch to another brand, no big deal.

As for your period, again, it'll take a few months for your body to adjust and your period to get lighter or shorter. For the first couple of months your cycle might be a big wonky, don't worry. Again, you can talk to your doctor about switching brands after 3 months if you're still having problems.

Now, this does not mean that the pill is not working as far as protection goes. You are protected after 7 days (14 in paranoid Austrailia) or 1 day if you started the pill on the first day of your cycle. If you're not comfortable, there's no harm in using back up contraception.
Consult you doctor once again ... sometimes it happens... or you have become immune to this medicine..

Still if you wish to have second opinion... you can send e-mail... to ... doingall3@yahoo.co.in .. it will be help-full... i am sure.
call your doctor, we cant help you!

Is the ortha evera patch really bad for you?

i heard that you could die from the patch?
Answer:
It can be. All hormonal birth control methods increase your risk of blood clots. Blood clots in the brain cause strokes, in the lungs--pulmonary embolisms, and in the legs--deep-vain trhombosis. Any of these things left untreated can lead to death. However, the patch has a 6 times higher occurence of blood clots than the pill--which already puts women at an increased risk of blood clots. Though the patch is on the market, I would be extremely leary of using it myself but it is a personal decision. If you are using any hormonal birth control method, take extra precautions with blood clots.
-Don't use hormonal methods if you are going to be in bed or inactive for a long period after a surgery or illness.
-Keep active, walk daily, especially if you are at a desk all day.
-Take the pill as directed, don't go crazy and triple doses if you miss two days!
-Don't smoke. Smokers have less blodd circulation which increases their risk for a clot.
-Look out for classic markers of a blood clot in different locations--sharp pain when breathing, a sharp pain in the calf or thigh(usually the latter), or numbness/weakness on one side of the body. See a doctor immediately if you have any of these symptoms, early treatment is key!
blood clots and stroke are side effects of all birth control options.
All types of birth control carry a risk of blood clots, stroke, and heart attack. However, it has been shown that the patch increases these risks even more than the pill does. I don't know why it is; I just know what I have read and heard from my doctor.

No matter what type of BC you are on, be sure to not smoke. The risk goes up even higher with that.
yes it is definitely true! they've done a lot of research and studies on the patch and it can lead to blood clots and more. When i was on the patch i had numerous times when i had chest pains. And im a 21 year old healthy female who has never had them before. You're best bet if you are looking for birth control is the pill or the shot
Didn't they just take that off the market because it was killing so many women? Of course it's bad for you. All synthetic birth control is bad for you.

Is the Nuvo Ring contraceptive available in Italy?

Answer:
Yes, it is.
Get in touch with the manufacturer of Nuva Ring such as thru their website and it should have a listing of countries that this product is available in. If not look for a "contact us" on the website (which I think is nuvaring.com) to see if you can find out if it is available in Italy and if they have a list of drs for there that might give you a prescription for it.

Is the last week of May to late to plant a vegetable garden in Ontario, Canada?

things like peas, carrots, beans, cucumbers, etc.
Answer:
no...plant things that say they are ripe in 90 days...early girl tomatoes..that's a good one and there's a lot More ...also don't start with seeds get the plants already started...have fun .good eating..now get to the store and get started.smile
watch your weather and as long as no frost is likely then you can plant.if you are going to plant tomatoes or peppers you need to buy plants that are already growing from a greenhouse because seeds take too long and you will not get any food with Ontario's short growing season.
